About
In 2005 Laura Simmons, a stay-at-home-mom of two children with a
background in marketing and a love for design, put her creative
energy to use and decided to create a line of "one-sies" (body
suits) that celebrates all children. Thus Okki was conceived with
both her talent and energy, she began to create her designs by
using her imagination and skills in art & color, while surrounding
herself with the children in her life, including those of her
friends & family.
The concept of Okki, and it's designs, are about celebrating every
individual child, and to empower them to be anything they want to
be. Our product is not only stylish and whimsical, but made with
quality selected cotton, making our one-sies durable & wearable for
a long time. Parents not only want their tots wearing trendy
clothing, but also quality clothing. After a year of research and
test marketing, we are open for business.
Every one of our designs has a little story behind them. One example is
"Just Crawling Around"; Laura's son Ethan began crawling at 5 1/2
months and getting into everything in just a blink of an eye. "S for
Spunky" find's it's origins in Laura's daughter, Ariella, who's
personality has a lot of spunk.
We have worked real hard to bring you not only a product of quality, but
a product that you will love.
What does "okki" mean? It's Japanese for "wake up" ...
I would like to thank everyone who has
helped to make this possible specially my husband !
Thank you for visiting our site. We
have created a informative wholesale website site for the retailer.
We do not sale our products on line because we believe that it would
not be fair to the retailers that carry our products. If the
consumer wants to purchase our products we will direct them to a
